Just been to Rattlesdon Gliding club with my partner for his gliding experience which he thoroughly enjoyed. Then I had a go myself! Nathan was great, very professional and I can't wait to go back. The staff here are really nice, efficient and good fun. Thanks guys, we'll be back. Karen and Gary.

Gliding Experience bought for me for my 70th birthday. Loved it! So wish I had done it years ago. It was amazing. All the volunteers were really helpful. Thank you so much for making it a lovely day!

Had a fantastic flight today even took me over lavenham,where i live excellent . Would highly recommend 👌 lovely people.

I organised a 'have a go' for some colleagues. I was imagining some graceful soaring and slow banking turns. The pilot threw it about like a joyrider. I still felt sick a day later. Just like driving - if you're hands on the controls it's not you that feels sick, it's the poor passenger. The sad thing is, I got the feeling that making me feel ill was his intention. Put me off gliding but I am having flying lessons with some really professional instructors.

Did my first Glider flight experience here today and had a really fantastic time. Club members were very friendly and explained everything clearly and made me feel welcomed. Would highly recommend Rattlesdan Gliding club. Can be tricky to find but they can let you know by email in advanced exactly where to go.

My grand daughter had a trial flight at the open event. The members are very friendly and welcoming. She was thoroughly briefed and got into the glider ready for her flight, the instructor being seated behind her. After a safety delay the glider was taken up on a winch launch and flew around the area for a few minutes. She was able to see the coast and other landmarks. This is a highlight of her 2 week holiday from the USA

I fly at Rattlesden so I may be biased :-) but it's a lovely friendly club and gliding is the aviation equivalent of poetry in motion...all grace and excitement

Nothing bad to say about this fantastic club. I went for a try fly. Turns out I am too tall. The lovely people tried everything to accommodate me. But alas it was not to be. Never a waste of time meeting nice people.

Small friendly Gliding Club, tucked away deep in the Suffolk countryside. If you fancy giving unpowered flight a go, this club is an excellent option. The members go out of their way to make you welcome and make sure you have a safe and enjoyable flight. The only downside is its hard to find, best use a satnav or ring ahead for directions.
